Hertfordshire 2024 political analysis

Labour and the Liberal Democrats were the big winners across Hertfordshire in 2024. Labour gains in Stevenage, North Herts and Welwyn Hatfield, enabled the party to strengthen its grip on the three authorities. Meanwhile, the Lib Dems will be pleased to have retained their large majorities in Watford and St Albans. With the exception of true blue Broxbourne, it was a poor night for the Conservatives.
